Secret Concert – Advent 2013
As outlined in the first Secret Concert posting, this will be an extended time of musical reflection on the themes of the season. Most of the music will be improvised, though some repertoire may also be included. The Penance service will begin at 7pm with music starting approximately 7:30 as people begin to go to individual confession.

Mozart Requiem in Memory of Bishop Dorsey
The beloved third bishop of Orlando passed into eternal life in February 2013, and we fondly remember his gentle pastoral leadership. Bishop Dorsey, an accomplished musician, supporter of the Basilica Choir, and lover of Mozart, will be honored at this performance of Mozart's immortal Requiem by the Basilica Choir and Orchestra, under the direction of William Picher.

Organ Duet Concert – All Saints in Winter Park
Wm. Glenn Osborne and Jaime Carini will present a concert of organ duets as part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the installation of the organ at All Saints Episcopal Church in Winter Park, FL. Included on the program will be works of Gustav Merkel, Johann Strauss Jr., Modest Mussorgsky, and others. The program will feature the US premier of The Apostles by Naji Hakim. Secret Concert – Lent 2014
Holy Redeemer will hold its Lenten Penance service this evening. As mentioned for the previous Secret Concert, this will be over one hour of quiet reflective improvisations on seasonal themes as people go to individual confession. The service begins at 7pm, and I expect to start playing solo instrumental music around 7:30pm.

The Bel Canto Choir of Gateway High School under the direction of Chris Barletta will give the premiere performance of The Chariot by Wm. Glenn Osborne during their spring concert on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 7 pm. The concert will be repeated on Tuesday, May 6 at 7 pm. Wm. Glenn Osborne will guest conduct the first performance on Monday.
