The first of the Cathedral of St. Luke’s Sunday Matinee concerts will feature three different performing groups: Michael Barr on French horn, organ improvisations by Wm. Glenn Osborne, and the Orlando Wind Quintet. More details to follow soon.
The Orlando Deanery Boy Choir under the direction of Canon Benjamin Lane and Mrs. Claire Hodge will sing for the 11am Festal Eucharist at St. Thomas Church in New York City as part of their tour in June 2014. Having frequently accompanied choirs under the direction of Ben Lane, I have been invited to join the group and play the opening voluntary for the service, Le Banquet Céleste by Olivier Messiaen.
